We have had a very blessed day. The teachers Convention got off to a very good start. There was full attendance from all the teachers who were registered. Our team is very satisfied with the way the first day went.
Also, the latrine construction is well under way. Local people had begun construction a few days before we arrived so our team simply fit in with local workers. There were approximately 30 people working around the construction site. Although it was somewhat awkward at first, our team picked up on the construction methods quickly and became a part of the crew.
